Assignments & submissions — set, collect, grade
No more submissions by e-mail: in accora you set assignments with a deadline, participants hand in text and files digitally, and the grade lands with the right person.
From task to grade
Assignments with deadlines
Title, description, due date, maximum points. Optionally with an availability window: visible from a date, closed after another, enforced on the server.
Targeted assignment
One task for everyone or only for selected participants, for differentiation or latecomers. Left empty, it applies to the whole course.
Digital submissions
Participants hand in text and any number of files. Until the deadline a submission can be revised, after that it is final.
Material attached to the task
Worksheets and templates live right on the assignment, uploaded or picked from the course content.
Grading with feedback
Points, grade and comments in a single view per submission. The participant gets a notification and sees the grade in the course.
Everything flows into the gradebook
Every graded assignment appears automatically in the course's grade overview, exportable as CSV.
Deadlines that actually hold
An availability window on an assignment is not decoration: before the start date the task is invisible, after the closing date the server accepts no further submission. Debates about the timestamp of an e-mail are over.
The overview for teachers
For every assignment you see who has submitted and who is still missing. Grading happens in one view, submission by submission, with files opening right there. Graded work is visible to participants immediately, feedback included.
Frequently asked questions
Can participants still submit after the deadline?
No, the closing date is enforced on the server. If you want to make exceptions, extend the deadline or assign the task to specific people.
Do participants see each other's submissions?
No. Each submission is visible only to the participant and to the grading teachers.
Which file formats are allowed for submissions?
All of them, and several files per submission. Teachers download the work individually or straight from the grading view.
Can I change a grade afterwards?
Yes, points, grade and feedback can be adjusted at any time. The gradebook picks up the new state automatically.
