Courses & learning material — organised instead of scattered
Every file in its place: courses with folder structure, versioning and a recycle bin. Upload, share and find things again, without the file chaos of mail attachments and network drives.
What accora does for your content
Folder structure per course
Nested folders with breadcrumbs, multi-select and "copy to", even across courses. Session materials get their own folder automatically.
Uploads that keep up
Several files at once, progress indication, large files well into the gigabyte range, including lecture recordings.
Versioning
Upload a new revision and the previous ones remain available. Any earlier state can be restored, nothing is overwritten silently.
Recycle bin
Deleted does not mean gone: courses, folders and documents can be restored with their content until the bin is emptied for good.
Sharing with control
Share per course, folder or document, with individuals or whole groups. One glance shows how many people can access an item.
Duplicate courses
New term, same structure: copy a course including its folder tree and materials. The copy starts inactive until it is ready.
Structure that grows with you
In accora a course is more than a file dump: the info page, sessions, assignments, tests and content work together. Your learning material lives in a folder structure you design yourself, and it moves into the next term with you, via duplication or "copy to".
Nothing gets lost
Every uploaded file keeps its history: new versions replace the old one visibly, not silently. Deleted courses, folders and documents go to the recycle bin and can be restored completely, including the files they contain.
See who has access
Whether a single document or the whole course: you grant access to people or groups, with levels from viewing to full management. The platform shows for each item how many people can actually reach it, inherited shares included.
Frequently asked questions
Which file formats can I upload?
All of them. PDFs, images and text files open right in the browser, everything else is offered as a safe download. Large video files are no problem either.
Where are the files stored?
Either on German storage provided by us, or on your organisation's own storage (your S3 or Microsoft SharePoint). GDPR-compliant in every case, and strictly separated per organisation.
Can students or participants upload files themselves?
Yes, if you allow it. Permissions are granted per course, folder or document. Participants can delete their own uploads, but not anyone else's.
What happens to content when a course ends?
Your choice: deactivate the course (invisible to participants, material preserved), duplicate it for the next run, or delete it, in which case the recycle bin has your back.
Is there a size limit?
Practically no, uploads work well into the gigabyte range. Organisations with booked storage have a transparent quota, your own storage (S3/SharePoint) is not limited by us.
Learning material in one place at last?
We are happy to show you accora in person, no strings attached and tailored to your organisation.
